I wrote this article in early 2017 to commemorate 100 years of one of the most successful symbiotic public-private partnerships in America. I have benefited from Greenwich Library's excellence since I was five years old, and getting to write about its lasting success was an honor.

I was recently assigned to profile Max Lu, the youngest American to attain a grandmaster ranking in chess, drawing from both his first-hand experiences and the perspectives of those around him. The article I wrote was published in May 2016 for Greenwich magazine.

This short piece features 102-year-old Michael Chiapetta, a regular customer at his local chili-dog stand who shares his secrets for staying young and happy. It was published in July 2016 for Greenwich magazine.

Article #6 - Actress Tina Arning Begins Her Second Act

This article, written for Greenwich Sentinel and published in February 2016, profiles a noted actress originally from Greenwich. Tina Arning was making her first appearance on a television sitcom in over ten years, and talked about the experience of returning to the screen.

Article #5 - Greenwich Sentinel Vietnam Vets

This article, written for Veterans' Day, 2015 for Greenwich Sentinel, tells the story of three area men who served their country in Vietnam. They served in different time periods, in different environments, and experiencing markedly different physical and emotional impacts. About the only thing they had in common was the silence with which they treated the subject of Vietnam for decades after coming home.
